Fun and Inspiration at Team Meetings

Our team meeting was held last Saturday - I love these meetings because there is always lots of ideas and inspiration and fun!

Everyone brings some projects they have made recently to show everyone, and we take turns providing Make & Takes to complete.

These first two projects are the Make & Take cards that everyone gets to 'make and take' home.

This one is very quick and simple. The cardstock used is Crumb Cake and Whisper White, with the Crumb Cake sheet from the Neutrals DSP stack. The rose is cut using the new Rose Garden Thinlit die and the sentiment is from the Rose Wonder stamp set - all from the new Occasions Catalogue. Carol prepared this kit, and the card was inspired by Mary Brown of Stamper Camper's Corner.

This lovely card uses many products from the Love Blossoms suite. The cardstock is Crumb Cake, Rose Red, Whisper White, and Silver Foil. The ink used is Rose Red, and the stamp set is Bloomin' Love. The pretty DSP is from the Love Blossoms DSP stack, and the heart is cut using the Bloomin' Heart Thinlits Dies. This Make & Take was prepared by Sandi and inspired by Stacey of A Work of Carte.

These are some of the samples that were shared.

The stamp set used for this fun diorama card is Bear Hugs.

This card is made using the Botanical Blooms stamp set and the Botanical Builder Framelits dies.

This delightful tea packet is made using Whisper White cardstock and the Have a Cuppa DSP stack.
The little stamped tea packets are from the A Nice Cuppa stamp set, and my favourite - the tiny teapot charm is from the Have a Cuppa Embellishments.

This wreath has me thinking Christmas 2017 already! It was created using the Reason for the Season Stamp Set and the Festive Flower Builder Punch that has been carried over from the Holiday Catalogue. The cardstock is Whisper White, Real Red, and Mossy Meadow. The pearls in the centre are the perfect accent.

I love the softness of this card which was made using the Botanical Blooms stamp set and Botanical Builder Framelit dies.

Love birds for Valentines.

This pretty card uses all the in-colours that will be retiring in June... Check out Tracy's blog for instructions on how to make the card: http://www.stampinup.net/blog/2135247/entry/before_they_re_gone

I hope you enjoyed seeing the projects, and if you've ever thought of becoming a Stampin' Up! demo, now is the perfect time because you can become a demonstrator for just $125 ($155 value) and choose $40 more of FREE products because it's Sale-a-bration time! Plus you don't have to pay shipping on the kit! That's $195 worth of your choice of products for only $125!

Weekly Deals and Samples

Here are the new deals for this week, and I've included some samples showing how you can use them!

These are gift baskets I made with the Berry Basket die:

And this is a cute little Easter Basket - note the other side below...

The tiny punches are adorable, here's one way you can use the balloon punch.

I really like the Vintage Faceted Designer buttons - they don't show up too well in a photo, but they make a lovely impact in real life, and come in 3 sizes! The medium size is shown on this project.

If one of these items has been on your wish list - get it while it's on sale! Email me, or order on-line.

Happy Stamping...

Thanking My Lucky Stars!

Everybody has neighbours, some become good friends, some just acquaintances, and some... well, some do not. We are fortunate to have wonderful neighbours, and two of them just moved in a couple of years ago. Phil & Susan have already made themselves an integral part of our small town, and their generosity and friendliness has become a joy in our lives.

Saturday was Phil's birthday so I put together a card that expresses how my husband and I feel about having him on our street and as our friend.

The stamp set Going Global is from the new Occasions Catalogue, along with the Going Places Designer Series Pack and the World Traveler Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Together they make a wonderfully coordinated set for a myriad of occasions - Birthday, Congratulations, Retirement, Bon Voyage, and just about any masculine project.

Here is another card using the same products.

And if you purchase all three plus a package of cardstock you will have placed a $60 order and earned a free product of your choice from the Sale-a-bration Catalogue.

I'd like to suggest the Sky is the Limit stamp set that would go beautifully with this collection.
