I made this set for a friend of mine who enjoys playing all sorts of card games, and who often holds card parties where we have a wonderful time and laugh ourselves silly.
I used the 'Jackpot' DSP along with Basic Black and Whisper White cardstock. The cards on the front are stamped using the 'Card Games' set.

Inside is a pad, pen, deck of cards, and one of the Big Shot match box die cuts to hold dice (die?).
I am really pleased with the way it turned out!

Today I decided to take the time to do the SUDSOL Design Challenge. (SUDSOL is a Demo-only website). The challenge was 'Sketch & Yellow'. We were provided with the card layout plus we had to use some type of yellow. Here's my creation:
The yellow I used was Crushed Curry - in the cardstock, ribbon, and marker for colouring the flowers. The other colours are Dusty Duranger and Whisper White. The DSP is Autumn Traditions and is Always Artichoke in colour although it's not showing up true to colour here! It looks much greener and makes a better combination in real life.

Hope you have a great weekend - and have time for stamping!

My oldest, wonderful, granddaughter is 5 and has tons of friends - who invite her to all their birthday parties. So I thought I would make her a folder with cards that she could give to them.

The theme is Build A Bear, so I used the Big Shot Bear die to cut out two bears and then dressed them as a boy and girl to decorate the cover of the folder.

Inside are a variety of stamped Birthday cards using the Beary Best Friends set. Bella can colour the bears on the cover to make the cards her own creation!

I also used the Beary Best Wishes stamp set for the sentiments.

Thanks for stopping by!

No! It's a new My Digital Studio DSP download!

Recently Stampin' Up! has offered another new Designer Series Paper for My Digital Studio - Summertime Splendour. Along with digital scrapbooks and cards you can also resize it and print it for hybrid paper cards. I love this design and here are four samples:

I think they are quite striking (if I do say so myself!!)

The card base is So Saffron and the mat on the picture is the new Cajun Craze! Because I set it up on MDS (My Digital Studio) I could import the sentiment and print it along with the flowers.

The colours here are So Saffron, matted with Ballet Blue embossed with Square Lattice Embossing Folder (Summer Mini), and matted again with Real Red.

This is my favourite - so simple but so striking! Cardstock colours are Chocolate Chip and Whisper White.

And finally echoes of the colours of the flowers and stem using Certainly Celery and Night of Navy.

If you would like more information on My Digital Studio and/or the available downloads and how to use them, please contact me!

Thanks for stopping by!
